Microsilica or Silica Fume is a very effective pozzolanic material used to produce very dense, lower permeability concretes with few voids and greatly increased abrasion resistance.

It is a by-product from the production of ferrosilicon alloys. In conventional concrete, water reacts with the cement to form crystals, which grow and densify to bond aggregate particles together. Microsilica reacts with free lime to produce calcium silicate hydrate crystals which grow to fill the voids which would otherwise be occupied by pore water.

Larcure 90

Larcure 90 is a refined white wax in water emulsion-based curing compound, which when applied to fresh concrete rapidly forms an impermeable, thin wax layer over the surface.

This protects concrete from rapid evaporation during curing. When used as recommended Larcure 90 will not damage concrete or impair its properties. Larcure 90 contains no flammable solvents and can be used indoors without provision for ventilation.

Larflow FC

Larflow FC is a liquid air entraining admixture for use in the production of ‘Foamed Concrete’ or ‘Flowable Fill’. Foamed concrete is a lightweight, low strength, flowing mix for use in backfilling and general void filling operations. Larflow FC allows the production of stable foamed concrete with hardened densities down to 1600 kg/m3.

Chemcrete SRA

Chemcrete SRA is a liquid admixture designed to reduce drying shrinkage, and in doing so, reduce the resulting cracking.

Chemcrete SRA acts by reducing the surface tension of the water in the pores and therefore reduces the internal forces in the concrete. Generally, this leads to a 50% reduction in both plastic shrinkage and drying shrinkage initially and at 28 days with a 30% reduction at one year and later.

Chemcrete REACT 2

REACT 2 is a solution of advanced organic stabilisers which is designed to be used to produce concrete with enhanced viscosity and controlled rheological properties.
REACT 2 is specifically formulated to provide excellent stability and resistance to segregation in all high fluidity concretes, both in readymix and precast applications. It is also ideal for producing low filler content SCC.

REACT 2 is particularly suitable for balancing and stabilising lean mixes, poorly graded aggregates and mixes with low fines content. It is ideally for reacting to segregation and correcting mixes which may otherwise be rejected.

Chemcrete AWP

Chemcrete AWP is an anti-washout stabilising powder admixture for underwater concreting.

AWP is a blend of thixotropic agents and superplasticisers. AWP is a concrete admixture designed to reduce the level of washout experienced when concrete is placed in underwater or tidal applications. AWP reduces segregation and greatly increases the cohesion of concrete mixes, and by altering the viscosity of the paste, reduces the risk of washout.
